Having gained auction house experience in the 19th Century European Paintings department at Sotheby’s in New York, Margaret returned to her hometown of Houston to contribute her appraisal and cataloging skills to C2.
A passionate researcher, she digs deep into a client’s collection to unearth opportunities for added value. Comfortable navigating large-scale projects with multiple parties, she empowers clients to make the right decisions by providing an objective, professional and full-service experience. Margaret has a B.A. in Art History from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in Fine and Decorative Art, with Distinction, from Sotheby’s Institute in London. She recently received her Certificate in Appraisal Studies from the Appraisers Association of America and became compliant with USPAP.
