Mary Hammon is drawn to art and collectibles for the stories they tell about previous generations.
Passionate about making the art market more transparent, she gained her extensive knowledge of collectibles while working in Estates & Appraisals at Christie’s in New York. Since joining C2 in 2016, Mary Hammon has advised corporate and private clients on getting the most out of their collections and estates, with a particular focus on acquisition and deaccession. After graduating from Washington & Lee University, she earned a Masters in Modern & Contemporary Art from Christie’s Education in London. Mary Hammon currently serves as chair of the Menil Society steering committee.
