C2 Art Advisors Hosts Houston Open House with New York’s Nino Mier Gallery on October 16th
An all-day open house give Houston designers, collectors and clients a first look at works by international artists.
HOUSTON, Texas | October 6, 2026: C2 Art Advisors, the Houston art advisory firm that has partnered with interior designers, architects and collectors since 2011, will host an open house on Friday, October 16 at its Houston space, featuring a curated group of works from Nino Mier Gallery.
The group of 13 works includes paintings and mixed media by Gregory Hodge, Ethan Cook, Marin Majic, Lola Gil, Jose Lerma, Tim Braden and Karel Dicker, drawn from the gallery’s programs in New York and Brussels. The works range from Ethan Cook’s large hand-woven cotton compositions to Karel Dicker’s intimate paintings in American walnut frames. These are artists Houston audiences are unlikely to find at any local gallery, and the open house is the first opportunity to see them together, in person, in Houston.
A more focused way to bring great work to Houston
C2 has long brought individual works to Houston on approval for clients. This collaboration takes a more focused approach: a larger group from a single gallery, shown together so clients can compare artists, price points and media in one room.
“We’ve had real success bringing artwork from other galleries in the past, and we wanted to do something more curated and substantial,” said Mary Hammon Quinn, President of C2 Art Advisors. “A lot of art is bought from images alone. But when you’re building a relationship with a collector, they want to see things in person, and they want to know we’re taking that extra step to make the process seamless for them.”
Built for the design community
The open house is designed with interior designers and architects in mind. It offers an easy way to see something unique and different from what their clients already own. Our team will be on hand to talk through scale, process, and pricing, and to handle the framing, installation and logistics that follow an acquisition.
Timed to Untitled Art, Houston
Nino Mier Gallery is also exhibiting at Untitled Art, Houston, which runs October 1–4 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Following the fair, select works from the gallery’s booth will join the group at C2, extending the gallery’s Houston presence well beyond the fair weekend. After the open house, the works will remain on view at C2 by private appointment through the end of the year.
