Celebrating Women in the Arts: A Landmark Dallas Exhibition
Patron Magazine spotlights C2 Art Advisors’ latest exhibition, She Creates / We Collect, now on view through December 5th at Atelier on Flora Street in Dallas. The pop-up selling show presents a focused and compelling selection of works by women artists, affirming C2’s continued commitment to fostering art collecting across Texas, with a presence in both Houston and Dallas.
Louise Bourgeois’ Don’t Worry anchors the exhibition, chosen by C2 president Mary Hammon Quinn to set “a welcoming and fun tone.” Works by Jennifer Bartlett, Lynda Benglis, Cecily Brown, and Holland Cunningham follow, joined by paintings and works on paper from Tara Donovan, Janet Fish, Lee Krasner, Rebecca Morris, and others. Dallas-based artist Desiree Vaniecia is also featured, adding a local voice to the diverse roster.
The exhibition brings together established and emerging artists working across a wide range of media. From three-dimensional objects and abstract expressionism to conceptual play and reinterpretations of genre, the show offers a textured view into the contributions of women in contemporary art.
C2’s advisory model, rooted in accessibility and expertise, is reflected in the exhibition’s design—inviting collectors at all levels to engage with the work on view. The firm continues to support thoughtful collecting and meaningful connections to art, grounded in its Texas-based operations.
